Today was filled with unification, kindness, patience and camaraderie, starting the day off with sending out our groups with each a different mission to serve the Lord. One group headed to Crystal Ridge to understand and experience the lives of the Choctaw children on a day-to-day basis, they shared stories through playing games making crafts such as, hand weaving a dream catcher and making an assortment of beaded bracelets. The next group headed back to Parks Quarters to complete the task of refurbishing mailboxes for the community, they had the opportunity to be God’s hands and feet as we worked for and spoke to the local people. At the end of the day we all came back together and shared quality time as we helped finish clearing the trees at Choctaw Christian Church and even though a special surprise visitor, God kept us in his hands by giving us courage to help lead the snake back to its home. To end the night we ate dinner with the pastor and his family then sang joyful praises.
