My time here with the Choctaw people was filled with many ups and downs, truly unique to any mission trip I have ever been on before.  I love the heart of the people, their culture is rich with their heritage which makes the Choctaw people beautiful.  I am amazed at how open to recieve outsiders they are, even when they have not accepted Christ.

When I think of the people of the Choctaw tribe, I see the need for pride in their heritage coupled with fathers more active with their chilldren and God at the forefront of their hearts.  Being among the Choctaw and the African American children of the Mashulaville community makes me want to love on them even more.  I thank God for the great leadership Ms. Beverly Mayo provides full-time for the youth in Mashulaville.  She is such a strong Christian woman of God.

It has been my pleasure serving under the great leadership of Angela and Seth of AIM as well.
