Our role… (7/16/2011 – 7/23/2011 mission)

It is not common to see the whole body of Christ come together in harmony.  Usually, we let small divisions like denominations or state barriers get in he way, but this trip has been different. Not only have I seen the body come together and work for God's glor,y but I have seen us come together as friends.  God has perfectly equipped this team to perform all the all the tasks He has called us to do.  There has been a constant stream of encouragement, love and prayer from eveyone involved.  We torn down emotiaonal, racial and economic barriers to further the Kingdom of God.  One of my biggest fears coming here was that we wouldn't each have our own role to play.  God has calmed that fear completely. Not only do we have our own role, but we are empowered to fill it. We have worked together to make His hands and feet move and His heart to love the Choctaw people as well as the kids in Mashulaville.  It has been an irreplaceable asset to have a solid base to fall back on; it has made us free to love, encourage and see God in ways we never thought possible.
