Simpley Amazing
Adventures… I was asked to share my experience in Mississippi, it can be summed up in two words, SIMPLY AMAZING!
Being the Pastor of Tabernacle for just over a year at the time of our trip (and my first Mission Trip and the first in many years for our church), this trip was a great experience for our church. From the time we announced the Mission Trip to Mississippi and placed the sign up sheet the excitement began to grow. Our goals for sign up were way past what we were expecting. I knew from that moment that God was in this from the very start.
Once we were in Mississippi and began our Mission Work, we could sense that we were here “for such a time as this”. As soon as we arrived at the location my team was at, we (every single one of us) made a very meaningful connection with Ms. Carol. As we began working to assist her, every minute we were blessed by her as we did work that she was unable to do. From my perspective as the Pastor, it was great to see the love and the spiritual growth of our team. Just everyone knows our team was from ages 13 to 78 and everyone has grown in their spiritual life. Adventures, Keith and everyone in Mississippi thank you for making this trip so special!
